1954 - Elvis Presley made his professional debut in Memphis. It was his first concert to be advertised.
1966 - The song "Wild Thing" by Troggs topped the charts and stayed there for 2 weeks. 1977 - The song "I Just Want to Be Your Everything" by Andy Gibb topped the charts and stayed there for 4 weeks. 1988 - The song "Roll with It" by Steve Winwood topped the charts and stayed there for 4 weeks.
